A28 Alençon - Rouen motorway section

> Description du projet

The A28 Alençon - Rouen motorway links the RN12 in the south to the A13 in the north. It is 124.6 km long and will cross the Eure, Orne and Calvados counties.

The main technical difficulties in relation with the project have concerned the environment (coverage of numerous special points) and excavations (presence of marl quarries, new legislation on the deposit of materials, strategy for re-use of site materials, etc.).

The project includes the execution of 2 uncommon engineering constructions, the Bec viaduct (690 m) and the Risle viaduct (1,325 m) classified Natura 2000, which cross the Bec and the Risle valleys.

The chosen highway structure is upgradable, with a reinforced regravelling programme.

> Description des services fournis

The Owner has signed a design and build contract with the Client, by which the latter undertakes to build the motorway for a set overall sum.

The Client subcontracts project management to the Alisée grouping constituted by Bouygues Travaux Publics, Quille, DTP Terrassements and Egis Route which firstly undertakes design of the project as far as the level of the construction studies, then validates the construction studies, and finally provides assistance and quality control of the work. This is also a contract signed for a set overall sum.

Finally, production of the Detailed Pilot Study and the Project studies is subcontracted by Alisée to Egis Route for a set-price sum.
