A61 motorway widening to 2x3 lanes between Toulouse and Villefranche

The project consisted in the widening to 2x3 lanes of a 20 km long section of the A61 motorway between Villefranche-de-Lauragais and Toulouse South.

ASF entrusted Egis Route the full project management services: design and design management, procurement, supervision of works, assistance to the Owner (EPCM equivalent).
The main difficulties of this project located near Toulouse were:
- the design and works of the structures due to the regulations compliance
- the organization of the works in a restricted area in order to facilitate the important A61 motorway traffic
The project included specific structures in order to ensure the rain water treatment and the adaptation or construction of noise protections.
