Algeria: East - West motorway

> Description du projet

Overall survey to set up the toll collection for the whole East - West motorway (1,216 km) including:

  • Full check up of motorway operation organisation, in accordance with tolling equipments
  • Design of the overall operation equipment required by an up-to-date toll motorway (detailed design and tender documentation) such as:
  • toll plazas (8)
  • toll stations on 40 interchanges
  • service and rest areas (40)
  • communication and operation networks (1,216 km)
  • road signing (200 km)
  • motorway exit and entry slip road, emergency stop areas, central reserve cross over, emergency lay-by (emergency telephones)

Services include detailed design and tender documentation needed for the construction supervision contracts bidding procedure.

Egis Consortium (Egis Route / Egis Mobilité) is in charge of the following services:

  • The process design to implement the whole motorway toll collection
  • The design and specification of the operation organisation including operation and maintenance buildings location and dimensioning
  • The final design of toll and operation equipment including:
    • operation system and organisation
    • toll plaza specifications
    • operation centre
    • service and rest areas
    • equipment for communication, electrical and mechanical network
    • equipment for operation
    • motorway exit and entry slip roads, emergency stop areas, central reserve cross over, emergency lay-bys (emergency telephones)
  • Tender documentation (drawings, terms of reference, bill of quantities, financial forecast) of:
    • operation centre
    • service and rest areas
    • motorway exit and entry slip roads, emergency stop areas, central reserve cross over, emergency lay-bys (emergency telephones)
