Romania: Brasov - Bors motorway

Construction of a new highway, 415 km long, 2x2 lanes. The highway construction works will be splitted into 8 different lots and should be achieved by the end of 2014. American contractor Bechtel is in charge of the design and construction of the whole project. This project is financed by the Romanian Goverment's funds.

The JV Egis Route - Scetauroute / Egis Bceom International is in charge of the works supervision of the Design & Build contract for the CNADNR (Romanian Roads and Highway Agency). This contract also includes the Bechtel's design and execution methods review. The JV will act as the Engineer according to FIDIC for the whole project during the execution period untill the Defect Liability Period.

  • analysis of comments on the project made by the Contractor
  • construction drawings review
  • coordination of utilities relocation
  • financial and cash follow-up
  • construction supervision
  • quantity
  • delay follow-up
  • preparation of monthly reports
  • assistance to the owner for the claim management
  • assistance to the client during the defect liability period
