Dourges European multimodal hub

> Description du projet

Situated close to the A1 motorway, the Deule Canal and the Lens - Ostricourt and Paris - Lille railway lines, this multimodal hub allows for exchanges to take place between the road, rail and maritime transport modes in a 260 ha area.

The 114 M€ investment excluding tax in construction covered:

  • the hub itself with a trimodal zone, a port zone with the construction of a sea wharf, transfer areas with railways, roads and container or mobile box handling gantry cranes
  • the hub's operating buildings (control building, maintenance building for handling equipment, railway operation buildings)
  • the railway corridor to welcome trains with branch lines to existing railways and including electricity for locomotion and railway signs
  • access roads to the zone, parking areas linked to its operation and diversions in order to by-pass the zone
  • primary road networks for logistic zones designed for companies to be able to settle close to the hub
  • utilities for the zone including a water treatment plant
  • 1 interchange with the existing A1 motorway
