On Friday 9th July, Jean-Louis Nesti (Chairman of the Syndicat Mixte de l’Aéroport and the CCI du Pays de Brive) officially opened the new airport, together with Dominique Bussereau (Secretary of State in charge of Transport) and other regional politicians. On Saturday afternoon, the public attended an air show hosted by the Patrouille de France.
